Can you say ‘very berry breakfast bowl’ three times fast? This recipe is quick and easy to make, tastes delicious and will leave you feeling full! It takes 3 minutes of preparation, 1 minute of cooking time and makes 1 serving.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ packet of frozen acai
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup coconut milk (or an alternate milk of your choice)
- Handful of fresh berries (optional)
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Add the banana, frozen strawberries, frozen acai, turmeric, cinnamon and coconut milk to a blender. Blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
- Add the mixture into a bowl and top with fresh berries and desiccated coconut.
Hot tip: If you want to drink it as a smoothie, add an additional ½ cup of coconut milk to make the mixture more liquified.
