Very Berry Breakfast Bowl

Can you say ‘very berry breakfast bowl’ three times fast? This recipe is quick and easy to make, tastes delicious and will leave you feeling full! It takes 3 minutes of preparation, 1 minute of cooking time and makes 1 serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ packet of frozen acai 
  • 1 tsp turmeric 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • ½ cup coconut milk (or an alternate milk of your choice)
  • Handful of fresh berries (optional)
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the banana, frozen strawberries, frozen acai, turmeric, cinnamon and coconut milk to a blender. Blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
  • Add the mixture into a bowl and top with fresh berries and desiccated coconut. 

Hot tip: If you want to drink it as a smoothie, add an additional ½ cup of coconut milk to make the mixture more liquified.
