Total Body Workout for Building Strength

Calling all gym goers! Building strength is important to help you complete everyday activities, control body fat, improve bone health and reduce your risk of injury. 

Personal trainer Joanna Soh has developed a total body workout for building strength, which targets all the major muscle groups – legs, back, chest, shoulders, arms and core. 

Check out the 8-minute video below and complete these exercises 2-3 times per week at VTAS Fitness Centre. Use the appropriate amount of weight depending on your fitness level (it’s okay to start with light weight!) and remember to incorporate stretching into your workout.
