The best kind of meals are the healthy, tasty ones that you can put together with minimal effort. Our simple chicken caesar salad is one of them! This recipe takes 5 minutes of preparation, zero cooking time and makes 2 servings.
Ingredients
- 2 heads romaine lettuce
- 2 tbsp caesar dressing
- ½ cup croutons
- ½ pre-cooked chicken
- ¼ cup shaved parmesan cheese
- 1 avocado (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the romaine lettuce into bite-sized chunks, then add to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the caesar dressing and croutons to the bowl and stir until combined. Divide the salad mixture equally on two plates.
- Slice or shred the pre-cooked chicken and place it on top of the salad mixture on each plate. Sprinkle shaved parmesan cheese on top.
- Note: If you’d like your chicken caesar salad to be heavier, dice the avocado and include it in the salad mix.
