You can’t go wrong with chicken and veggies, so let’s throw them into simple, tasty wraps. This is a great option for workday lunches or family dinners.
The following recipe takes about 15 minutes of preparation, 20 minutes of cooking and serves 6 wraps.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 packet southern fried chicken coating (or your preferred coating)
- Small wheel of brie cheese
- 1 bag spinach
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 yellow pepper
- Mayonnaise
- Tortilla wraps
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Slice chicken into thin strips.
- Put southern fried chicken coating in a small bowl, coat the chicken strips and place on a pan covered with baking paper.
- Bake chicken in the oven for 15 – 20 minutes or until cooked.
- While the chicken is baking, dice the tomatoes and pepper. Slice the brie into thin strips.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and place chicken, veggies, brie and mayonnaise evenly in the middle of each tortilla.
- Pull one end of the tortilla over the ingredients and roll it into a wrap.
These are best served fresh, but can also be refrigerated overnight and still taste delicious.
