Basic Berry Breakfast Bowl

Breakfast is an important meal — it kick starts your metabolism, boosts your energy levels and alertness, and provides your body with essential nutrients.

Sometimes all you need is a simple, healthy breakfast to start your day. Our basic berry breakfast bowl only takes 5 minutes to prepare and will keep you going all morning!

Ingredients

  • Plain Greek yogurt 
  • Fresh berries
  • Honey
  • Ground cinnamon 
  • Nuts (optional) 

Instructions

  1. Place 4-5 large spoonfuls of plain Greek yogurt into a bowl. 
  2. Cut up fresh strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, etc. and place on top of yogurt.
  3. Add a drizzle of honey over the yogurt and berries for flavour. 
  4. Top off your breakfast bowl with ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Looking for some extra texture and protein? Add chopped or sliced almonds, peanuts or walnuts.
