Updated Facility Guidelines: Effective January 1, 2026

Happy New Year! To improve VTAS Fitness Centre operations, please be advised of the following changes to our guidelines, effective January 1, 2026.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the cancellation of your membership privileges.

Locker Room Storage

  • All personal belongings, including towels and shower supplies, must be kept in a bag or tagged with your name clearly legible. Bags and tags have been provided for your convenience while supplies last.
  • Untagged towels will be discarded each Sunday. 
  • All items that are not properly tagged/labelled will be placed in the lost and found bin. Any items left in the lost and found for more than 3 months will be discarded/donated.
  • If your membership lapses for more than 60 days, you will be contacted to retrieve your belongings. Failure to retrieve your items within 90 days will result in your items being placed in the lost and found process stated above.

Facility Etiquette

  • Each member must complete the unlock sequence with their own Access Key (app). Please contact us to make arrangements if necessary. 
  • Providing unauthorized access to the facility will result in termination of your membership immediately. If an individual is experiencing technical difficulties and are unable to gain access with their app, please direct them to contact us for support.
  • Absolutely no outdoor shoes are permitted in the facility. Please help keep the facility clean for everyone!

Membership Renewal & Processing Times

  • Renewals will be processed between 12:00pm – 8:00pm each day. Payments received after 8:00pm will be processed on the next day.
  • Drop-in requests (without an active member present) will be available between the processing times listed above and will require a minimum of 1-2 hours’ notice to ensure we have time to process your payment and reactivate your Access Key (app).

Family Memberships

  • Family membership will only be available on an annual basis.

Waiver Update

  • Participant waivers must be updated every two years—you may be asked to complete a new waiver from time to time.
