5-Minute Total Body Kettlebell Workout

In our last blog post, we talked about three tips for making exercise a habit. One of those tips is to start with mini workouts, as choosing short workouts will help prevent you from making excuses.

Fitness trainer Stefanie, from Tone It Up, will take you through a 5-minute total body kettlebell workout to sculpt your abs, arms, back, legs and glutes. It will also raise your heart rate, which will boost your metabolism all day long. 

Don’t know what a kettlebell is? Don’t sweat it. A kettlebell is a cast-iron ball-shaped weight with a single handle. It’s a great piece of equipment for improving strength, core power, balance, flexibility and coordination, as well as burning fat.

Remember to warm up before working out and stretch when you’re done. Between warming up, completing the kettlebell workout and stretching, you can be in and out of the gym within 20 minutes. Not bad, eh?
